The African Democratic Congress ( ADC) Kebbi State chapter on Wednesday flags off it's campaign activities via a Press conference held at the Azbir Hotel, Birnin-Kebbi by the Director General of the State party Campaign Council, Hon. Sani Tadurga.
The Director General who pointed out seven vital sector of the economy which ADC administration will focus it's attention for improvement will be on Agriculture, Education, Security, Health, Tourism and Local Government.
He added that if the party's governorship flag bearer, Abubakar Chika Malami get the mandate of the people of kebbi State, genuine agriculture support will go to the real farmers, while livestock and fisheries will be developed as serious economic sector.
Hon. Tadurga explained that Education shall be given a face lift, whereby qualified teachers, instructional materials, functional laboratory and learning conveniences will be upper priority.
He expressed that ADC administration in the State come 2027 will declare emergency on severe child malnutrition and direct resources towards treatment, prevention, maternal and healthcare.
Local government, according to him, will be given the constitutional and administrative space necessary to perform their responsibilities.
On tourism, he stated that the globally known Arugungu Fishing Festival would be revamped to meet global standard, by restructuring it to a Tourism Board that will make it a professional regulator and destination management institution .
