TERRORISTS RELEASES ANOTHER FOUR OF FGC YAURI STUDENTS ADOPTED, TWO YEARS AFTER. BY GOLD AZOKHOME, BIRNIN-KEBBI. 

Four female Students of the Federal Government College, Birnin-Yauri, in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State were released to their parents early hours of Saturday by their abductors, two years after.

Speaking with Journalists in Birnin-Kebbi, the Chairman of the eleven parents committee of the adopted Students, Mr. Salim Ka'Oje said they set up an appeal funds to generates money demanded by the Terrorists which resulted in the release release of the four now, while seven Students are still in their custody in the forest.

"We are still negotiating for the release of other seven still with the terrorists in the forest, some of us, the parents are in the bush negotiating."

Asked about the amount of money expended to secure the release of the four female Students, Mr. Ka'Oje said he would not disappear the amount now until the remaining seven are released to them, assuring that he will call the pressmen again and disclosed the money spent.

In her speech, a mother of one of the released four girls, Mrs Sarah Musa appealed to members of the public and spirited individuals across society and the media to come to their aids and get the remaining children released.

"Like you can see, those of you are seeing are not really us, some of the children in the bush will not come out to see their father or mother because they are dead." 

"The pain, the shock, the agony have killed them, some fell sick, some collapsed, on their way to hospital they died." She lamented.

It would be recalled that in May, 2021, terrorists attacked the Federal Government College (FGC) Birnin-Yauri and adopted 251 students of the College, since then both the government and spirited individuals have been up and doing to secure their release. Bringing he total Students released so far to 137, while seven are still in captivity.
